CI & Production

Encrypt .env.ci, .env.production, or another environment file.

Use -f to choose the file to encrypt.

CI

# .env.ci
HELLO="CI"

$ dotenvx encrypt -f .env.ci

# .env.production
HELLO="Production"

$ dotenvx encrypt -f .env.production

Use the same file when running your command:

$ dotenvx run -f .env.production -- printenv HELLO
